Nova Esports posted a teaser for its Mobile Legends team.
Nova Esports will compete in the MPLI 2023.
The full roster of Nova Esports' MLBB team is yet to be announced.

One of the biggest esports organizations in China, Nova Esports, posted a teaser regarding its upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team. The post did not disclose the names of its members. However, a silhouette has been revealed in its teaser post which may indicate that it will have a five-man roster.

Nova Esports will represent China in the upcoming ONE Esports Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational (MPLI) 2023. The tournament is set to kick off on 15th November 2023 featuring 16 teams from around the world competing for this year’s championship title and the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

Nova Esports teases new MLBB team

The Chinese esports team Nova Esports gave fans a glimpse of their Mobile Legends roster for the upcoming MPL Invitational 2023. Through a Twitter post, the team shared a teaser with the caption “Are you ready for the NOVA MLBB team?”

Nova Esports is yet to officially unveil its roster for the upcoming invitational event. However, it may be possible that the team may have competed in a qualifier tournament. According to a now-deleted Douyin post, an event was allegedly held that determined which teams shall represent China in the upcoming M5 World Championship.

As Mobile Legends is still in its beta phase and has not yet officially released in the Chinese market, the tournament is not allowed to be broadcasted live. Keep Best Gaming (KBG) was later announced to compete in the upcoming M5 World Championship. On the other hand, Nova Esports shall compete in the MPLI 2023.

Despite being given only a few months to prepare, it will be interesting to see how Chinese teams will adapt to a new esports title, given their extensive experience in competing across various MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) titles, including Honor of Kings, League of Legends, and Wild Rift.
