In a recent livestream, TSM’s Shubham “NinjaJOD” Ranjan Sahoo confirmed that the team was looking for an in-game leader (IGL).
He confirmed that Nigma Galaxy’s former BGMI player DreamS was not officially a part of the team and was only giving tryouts.
NinjaJOD also stated that the team was performing well without an IGL.

TSM’s professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Shubham “NinjaJOD” Ranjan Sahoo recently addressed the lack of an in-game leader (IGL) on his team. NinjaJOD confirmed that the team did not have an IGL and that they were playing casually. However, he mentioned that the team was holding tryouts to fill the position of IGL. NinjaJOD also stated that the team was performing well without an IGL.

NinjaJOD confirms DreamS is not the IGL of TSM

In June 2022, the former BGMI IGL of TSM Arjun “ARJUN” Mandhalkar surprisingly left the organization to join GodLike Esports. As a result, TSM was left without an IGL on the team. Soon after that, the government of India suspended the game in the country under Section 69A of the IT Act 2000. Hence, the organization did not scout for an IGL subsequently.

With the emergence of recent rumors regarding BGMI’s return, all Indian teams have resumed playing the game and practicing scrims. Likewise, TSM also started scouting for an IGL for its team. Notably, Nigma Galaxy’s former BGMI professional player DreamS has been playing with the team recently. Fans speculated that this player could be the potential IGL of the team.

In a recent livestream, one of NinjaJOD’s viewers asked him who was the new IGL of the team. Responding to this, NinjaJOD clarified that the team did not have an IGL. He further mentioned that the team was playing casually just to fight and would inform its audience when it gets an IGL. NinjaJOD clarified that the team has been taking tryouts to fill the position of IGL in the team.

Following this, a viewer asked NinjaJOD how the team would get appropriate practice in scrims if they played without an IGL. NinjaJOD mentioned that the team was practicing really well and asked the viewer to “chill.” He assured the viewers that they would get to know a lot of things once the game returned and requested patience. “However we are playing right now, it is really good. It is not like we are completely messing up. Everything will be alright. I promise you this. Trust us,” he added.

After the departure of SHADOW, TSM has faced a slump in its BGMI journey. With SHADOW’s inclusion on the team, TSM won the Nodwin x Loco All Stars Invitational, which was a LAN event. However, with his absence, the team struggled to put on a decent performance, leading to a mediocre performance in the BGMI Masters Series, where it finished in 22nd position.
