Neyoo Discusses Shadow's Impact as IGL, Amar Speaks on GodLike Esports' Lineup Status

During the livestream, Neyoo delved into the role played by Shadow as the in-game leader (IGL) of Team GodLike. As the IGL, Shadow shoulders the responsibility of scouting and making strategic calls for his teammates. Neyoo acknowledged that Shadow's aggressive playstyle occasionally leads to him overextending and getting eliminated, but this is an inherent aspect of his gameplay. Furthermore, Neyoo mentioned that Shadow willingly accepts accountability for any shortcomings in the team's performance, demonstrating his commitment to the role.

Neyoo shed light on Shadow's decision to join GodLike Esports, sharing details of their personal conversation. Prior to joining GodLike, Shadow had been a member of Team SoloMid India (TSM India) during its prime. Despite Neyoo's cautionary advice against joining GodLike due to TSM India's recent success, Shadow faced issues within TSM India and expressed a strong desire to play for GodLike Esports which lead to a switch.

The current lineup of GodLike Esports comprises Vivek "ClutchGod" Horo, Jonathan "JONATHAN" Amaral, Suraj "Neyoo" Majumdar, Abhishek "ZGOD" Choudhary, Arjun "SHADOW" Mandhalkar, and Abhijeet "GHATAK" Andhare.

Recently, rumors circulated about Shadow potentially leaving the team as he was seen playing with Revenant Esports while LoLz substituted for him in GodLike's BGMI lineup. Responding to these rumors, Amar Chandgude, co-owner of GodLike Esports, clarified that no changes have occurred within the team. Chandgude explained that in a game where only four players can participate in a squad, one player must be benched according to a rotation system. He emphasized that since Shadow's inclusion in the lineup, he has not been benched, refuting any speculation of his departure from the team.
