New Wild Rift Champions for Patch 4.0 Leaked

Two new League of Legends: Wild Rift champions have been revealed and they shall be arriving in Patch 4.0, according to dataminers. The upcoming champions believed to be released in the upcoming major patch update are Zoe, a Mage champion, and Zeri, a Marksman champion. These champions are speculated to arrive in January 2023, possibly during the Chinese New year patch update. Riot Games is yet to officially confirm the release of the two new champions. With the current Wild Rift Patch 3.5 update still in the early stages of its release, fans may not be hearing about the next major patch cycle anytime soon.

Zoe and Zeri may be arriving in Wild Rift soon

According to a YouTube video posted by ChowZ, the first month of 2023 may introduce two new champions - Zoe and Zeri.

Zoe is known as the Aspect of Twilight, the embodiment of mischief, imagination, and change. She is classified as a burst mage who can deliver devastating combo attacks to enemies as well as long-duration stuns to stop them from escaping. 

Zoe also has a Spell Thief ability which allows her to pick up remnants of an enemy summoner spell and use it once for herself. However, considering how this ability may prove to be too powerful for Wild Rift, Riot Games may decide to adjust it to fit the pacing of the game.

Zeri, the Spark of Zaun, is a marksman champion who can absorb an enemy's shield whenever she hits them with her attacks. Her specialty is amplifying her basic attacks, allowing her to deal tremendous damage to enemies while staying agile on the battlefield with movement speed buffs every time she gains a shield from any source.

These champions are speculated to arrive on 12th January 2023, possibly during the Chinese New Year celebration. Riot Games is yet to confirm the release of Zoe and Zeri, so fans should take this information with a grain of salt.

Wild Rift is still in the middle of its Patch 3.5 update, delivering a plethora of exciting content such as the upcoming Spirit Blossom and Chrome Crash skins as well as the release of the new champion named Lillia.
