Hector stated that the team is called “Team Grind.”
He refrained from disclosing further details about the team, claiming that he would keep everyone updated.

Team SouL’s professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Sohail “Hector” Shaikh recently confirmed the speculation of Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal that Hector, Akshat “AkshaT” Goel, and Harshit “MJ” Mahajan are building a New State Mobile team. According to Hector, Team XO’s professional BGMI player Deepak “SENSEI” Negi is also on the team. However, Hector explained that the team building is still in progress and did not disclose any further details. He added that he would keep everyone updated about the new team.

Hector, AkshaT, MJ, and SENSEI might play New State Mobile as Team Grind

On 31st January, in a livestream, Goblin speculated that his BGMI teammates Hector and AkshaT were forming a New State Mobile, along with former Nigma Galaxy player MJ. However, he expressed a little uncertainty and stated that he was not entirely sure about it.

After a hiatus of around ten days, Hector went live on his YouTube channel on 3rd February. Notably, this was the first time Hector went live after Goblin’s speculations. In this livestream, a viewer told him about Goblin’s speculation that he was building a team with AkshaT and Hector and asked if it was true. Responding to this, Hector confirmed that he had built a team with AkshaT, MJ, and SENSEI, which he called ‘Team Grind.’ However, he added that the team building is still in progress and refrained from sharing further details. “Nothing is fixed yet; that’s why I am not disclosing anything. You will get to know everything in the coming time. I will update you about everything,” he said.

Hector believes New State Mobile is the future

A viewer asked Hector if he had left BGMI for good. Hector replied that he still plays BGMI, but believed that New State Mobile is the future. Hector claimed that if BGMI does not return, more and more players will switch to playing New State Mobile, but if BGMI does come back, players will switch back to playing it without any major difficulties. Hector added that there was still a lot of time left. He noted that even if BGMI returns, it will take four to five months for official tournaments to begin, giving them ample time to practice.

Previously, Goblin and Omega talked about the possibility of moving to New State Mobile due to the unavailability of BGMI. They stated that they could play both BGMI and New State Mobile at the same time. Finally, Omega said that he would need to discuss this with their team before making a final decision.
