The inaugural season of PMPL EMEA Championship 2021 came to an end yesterday after four days of gruelling competition. A total of 16 teams participated in the event, making their way through various qualifiers and regions.

  • Natus Vincere - Winners of EMEA League 2020

  • SLIME 4KT - Winners of PMCO 2021 Spring: Africa

  • Next Rüya Gaming, World Of Wonders, Futbolist - Top three teams of PMPL 2021 Spring: Turkey

  • Panda, Destiny, Conqueror EU - Top three teams of PMPL 2021 Spring: Western-Europe

Na'Vi were dominant through the entirety of the PUBG Mobile tournament, leading the points table from the very first day of the competition. They started off with consecutive chicken dinners and maintained their grip on the throne through the first day of the event.

This was followed by two more back-to-back chicken dinners being obtained by the CIS roster towards the end of the second day, further increasing their lead on the points table.

The remaining two days witnessed Na'Vi picking up two more chicken dinners, while mainintaing a steady pace by mostly playing for a good position. The strategy worked well for them as they claimed the championship with a total of 301 points, a lead of 48 points from the second placed Gunz Esports (253 points).

PMPL EMEA 2021 - Top Fraggers at End of Day 3

With this, Na'Vi walked away with lions share of the $150,000 prize pool, a handsome $40,000. This was ahuge win for the side who were recently struggling to play well, putting up bleak performances at OMETAL Pro-League, Meta Mobile 2021, and Crypto Sheikh Tournament. It will be interesting to see if Na'Vi can keep this momentum going forward.
