MPL PH to Host Hall of Legends to Commemorate Top 10 Legendary MLBB Pro Players

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) celebrates its 10th league with a Hall of Legends to honor the most iconic players in the region. This was revealed through a pre-launch press conference. The 10 legends whose names shall be engraved in the hall of fame shall be decided by a voting committee. The nominees include players from the inaugural season of the MPL PH up to the most recent season. The 10 selected players shall be announced in the first-ever MPL PH Hall of Legends ceremony which shall be held during the grand finals of the 10th season.
MPL PH Hall of Legends voting process
According to the MPL PH’s marketing and business development specialist Maui Tang, the 10 selected legends shall become the “standard bearers that embody 10 seasons of MPL talent, greatness, and strength.”
The 10 players shall serve as the first names to be included in the MPL PH Hall of Legends. The candidates shall be determined by various sources such as active players, team coaches, selected members from Moonton, and esports media.
He added that there shall be multiple ways to nominate a pro player which will be announced in the near future. “We will give stakeholders the voice to nominate the athletes they feel deserve to be counted as part of the top 10 legends of the MPL,” stated Tang.
According to Tang, the candidates may include “Any MPL-PH professional player who played in Season 1 up to the current Season 10” and “Nominees can also come from the current team/roster playing in Season 10.”
The MPL PH Hall of Legends is planned to be held at every major season milestone such as Season 10, Season 20, and so on.
The MPL PH offers a ton of potential candidates that could become a part of the upcoming Hall of Legends. It shall be most interesting to see whose names shall be engraved and forever be remembered as the greatest players of the MLBB esports scene in the Philippines.
