The Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8 Week 6 has concluded. All the teams are on edge as this is the playoffs stage draws closer. The defending champions of the current seasonal league, Blacklist International dropped its undefeated title under the hands of ONIC PH. Omega Esports had an amazing run in the sixth week, with two wins in their standing. This placed the team closer to securing a playoffs spot. TNC Pro Team, on the other hand, is on the lowest rank and with a high risk of being eliminated from the tournament. Here is a quick recap of the matches during the MPL PH Season 8 Week 4

MPL PH Season 8 - Week 6 Day 1

Nexplay EVOS vs ECHO (2-0)

ECHO almost had its chance to have an early lead. However, an intense struggle happened at the 29-minute mark where ECHO is supposed to close the first match but Nexplay EVOS miraculously defended its base before it collapsed. Despite all odds stacked against them, EVOS flipped the tied and cruised smoothly in its match against ECHO with a clean sweep victory score of 2-0. In favor of Nexplay EVOS.

TNC Pro Team vs RSG PH (2-0)

TNC Pro Team shows that they are still in the game by winning against RSG PH. Despite RSG PH’s impressive rotations, TNC Pro Team’s team fight dominance prevails as it manages to pick the right moment to engage or disengage. RSG PH always had the early game advantage but TNC Pro Team always managed to recover in the late game and take the win.

MPL PH Season 8 - Week 6 Day 2

Bren Esports vs TNC Pro Team (2-1)

TNC Pro Team had the upper hand during the first match. Bren Esports struggled to execute team fights that they only secured 2 kills against TNC Pro Team who accumulated 14 kills. However, Bren Esports managed to recover from its disappointing performance as they secured two consecutive wins in the second and third matches. The match ended with Bren Esports securing its hard-earned victory against TNC Pro Team with a score of 2-1.

Blacklist International vs Nexplay EVOS (2-1)

Nexplay EVOS didn’t go down without a good fight. Jhon "H2wo" Salonga’s Lancelot managed to carry his team to victory as Blacklist International struggled to take control in the second match. However, Nexplay EVOS fell short in the third deciding match as Blacklist International’s Kiel "Oheb" Soriano led the charge with his Natan. The match ended with a match score of 2-1, in favor of Blacklist International.

ECHO vs Omega Esports (0-2)

Omega Esports opted to bring Dean “Raizen” Sumagui instead of its experienced jungler Kiel VJ “Kielvj” Hernandez. This worked in the team’s favor as ECHO struggled to compete against objectives in every match. ECHO had the early game advantage but Omega Esports planned on a late-game strategy which ended in a match score of 2-0, in favor of Omega Esports.

MPL PH Season 8 - Week 6 Day 3

Onic PH vs Blacklist International (2-0)

Onic PH did the unthinkable and managed to break Blacklist International’s undefeated title in the MPL PH Season 8. The defending champions did put up a good fight and stuck to its “UBE” strategy but Onic PH kept its momentum going and secured a clean sweep victory score of 2-0.

ONIC PH defeated Blacklist International.

Omega Esports vs Bren Esports (2-0)

Omega Esports continues to keep its momentum going against Bren Esports. With Raizen on Omega Esports’ side as the jungler, the team’s rotations were fast and precise. Bren Esports only had a small window of time to retaliate which forced them to play defensively. Despite Bren Esports’ efforts into holding its opponent off, Omega Esports finished with a clean sweep victory score of 2-0.

TNC Pro Team vs Nexplay EVOS (2-0)

TNC Pro Team continues to perform poorly in MPL PH Season 8 after being defeated by Nexplay EVOS in the final match of week 6. With Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcarse’s shotcalling, Nexplay EVOS cruised smoothly with little to no problems. TNC Pro Team’s Shemaiah "Chuuu" Chu tried his hardest to keep his team from falling apart but couldn’t hold out long enough for his team to recover. The match ended with a match score of 2-0, in favor of Nexplay EVOS.
