MortaL named Entity Gaming the toughest Indian BGMI team he had faced in his career.
Following this, he added Team IND and INDIAN TIGERS to the list as well.

Naman “MortaL” Mathur was one of the first PUBG Mobile pro players who rose to prominence thanks to his popular streams and a first place finish at the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019. He has competed in multiple premier tournaments and faced the best that Indian PUBG Mobile has to offer in his long and storied career. In a recent livestream, MortaL named the three toughest Indian Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) teams that he had faced in his BGMI (erstwhile PUBG Mobile) esports career.

Team SouL has been an integral part of the BGMI community and one of the most prominent Indian BGMI teams since the beginning of the game’s esports in India. MortaL played an important part in making the organization what it is today. The first roster of Team SouL included the following players: MortaL, Mohammed Owais “Owais” Lakhani, Yash “VipeR” Soni, and Harpreet “RonaK” Janjuha. At its pinnacle, Team SouL was arguably the best team in India. It won numerous tournaments, including the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 and PUBG Mobile Club Open - Spring Split: India. Soon later, a lot of new teams emerged.

In the PUBG Mobile Club Open - Fall Split: South Asia, Entity Gaming showed incredible performance and won the tournament, whereas Team SouL ranked second. At that time, Entity Gaming’s roster included the following players: Abhijeet “GHATAK” Andhare, Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral, Aman “AMAN” Jain, and Viren “VIRU” Gour.

MortaL recently hosted a watch party for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC 2022) on his YouTube channel. VipeR and popular Pakistani YouTubers Jehanzeb “MrJayPlays” and Humera “LILY” were also a part of the watch party. During this session, MrJayPlays asked MortaL which teams he has faced in his BGMI career were toughest so far. MortaL thought about the question for a long time and replied, “Entity Gaming.” He added, “After that, we didn’t play much.”

Correcting him, VipeR said, “No, we played a few tournaments after that.” Following this, MortaL jokingly said, “Yeah, we played, but after that, there were 15 teams in the lobby that used to give us a tough time.” He added, “Yeah, but before that, Entity Gaming, Team IND, and INDIAN TIGERS. These were the toughest teams at that time.”

Team IND and INDIAN TIGERS also showed incredible performances in their short stints. Both teams quickly gained popularity in the BGMI community with their aggressive gameplay style and aim. In the PUBG Mobile Club Open - Spring Split: India, Team IND ranked second, and INDIAN TIGERS ranked third. Although both teams stayed consistent following this tournament, none of them was able to win any official tournament. Both teams disbanded their rosters soon after.
