MortaL, JONATHAN, Goblin Receive Nominations for The MOBIES Awards

Some of the biggest gaming streamers, content creators, and mobile esports athletes from India have received MOBIES nominations for 2023 under different categories.
Naman "MortaL" Sandeep Mathur and Jonathan "JONATHAN" Amaral, two of the most popular gaming personalities from the country have been nominated under the category of 'Mobile Content Creator of the Year'.
On the other hand, Harsh "Goblin" Paudwal, who is one of the highest-rated mobile gaming athletes, has been nominated for the category of 'Mobile Player of the Year'.
In total, there are 11 categories for which awards will be handed out in the inaugural season of The Mobies - Mobile Gaming Awards.
Mulitple Indian gaming personalities receive nominations in the inaugural season of Mobies
The Mobile Awards, called The MOBIES, has launched an award ceremony focussed towards the mobile gaming industry involving games, players, creators, developers, media, and more.
It was announced for the very first time on the eve of The Esports Awards held on 13th December 2022. Its debut ceremony will be hosted later this year on 14th July in Los Angeles, California to celebrate and recognize top-class performance and innovation from the world of mobile gaming.

Goblin - Mobile Player of the Year
A total of six mobile players from different titles have been shortlisted as nominees for this particular category.

Mohamed “Mohamed Light” Tarek - Clash Royale
Tensai - Brawl Stars
Burenbayar “TOP” Altangerel - PUBG Mobile
Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal - PUBG Mobile, BGMI
Ratchanon “Moshi” Kunrayason - Free Fire
All the nominated mobile players belong to different titles except for TOP and Goblin, representing some of the best esports organizations and doing exceptionally well in their respective competitive scenes.
Talking specifically about Goblin, the 20-year-old is a part of Team SouL, one of the most famous and successful mobile gaming organizations from India. He previously competed in PUBG Mobile but rose to prominence after shifting to BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India).

A total of seven mobile streamers and content creators from different titles have been shortlisted as nominees for this particular category.

All the nominated personalities create content for audiences of different demographics, interests, and consumption demands, making this one of the most difficult categories to judge.
Talking about the two creators from India, MortaL is considered to be the pioneer of mobile gaming in India and is the founder of S8UL Esports, one of the biggest esports organizations in India. He enjoys a following of more than 5.3 million on Instagram, 412,500 on Twitter, and 6.9 million on YouTube.
JONATHAN is the current trending personality in the region and is a member of GodLike Esports. Apart from being a creator, he is also one of the best mobile battle royale players from India. He has gathered a following of more than 5 million on YouTube and 2.1 million on Instagram.
