Moonton has finally released the battle emotes for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8. Alongside the massive Mobile Legends Patch 1.6.18 update, seven new MPL PH esports battle emotes on top of the eight MPL Indonesia (ID) battle emotes have been added to the game with the exception of Omega Esports. Each battle emote costs 109 diamonds each and will only be available for 120 days. According to Omega Esport’s pro player Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso, there was a problem regarding the team’s battle emote which is why it will be arriving a bit later than the rest.
Mobile Legends Releases 2021 editions of MPL battle emotes
Since the transition of MPL PH to a franchise model, a lot has changed in the seasonal league. One of these is the privilege of each team having its own battle emote in the game. At the moment, only the Indonesian team and the Philippines team have their own battle emotes in the game and they can be purchased for a limited time only.
There are currently seven new MPL battle emotes in the game. Omega Esports’ battle emote is yet to be released due to undisclosed issues. The 2021 versions of the MPL ID battle emotes have also been released in the game. The MPL ID emotes are different from the previously released ones with new sound effects but still stick to each team’s style.

These MPL battle emotes will be made available only for one year and will then later be removed from the shop after 120 days. We can expect a new set of battle emotes next year. However, once these battle emotes are replaced in the shop, they will not be obtainable in the future.
It will be interesting to see which battle emotes we’ll be seeing frequently in both casual and competitive matches within Mobile Legends.
