MobaZane Fires Back at Critics Blaming Him for BTK's Constant Loss to TOB in NACT Fall 2023
BloodThirstyKings' (BTK) team captain, Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun, responded to haters who claim that his performance is lacking in the ongoing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) Fall 2023 regular season. He defended himself, saying that those who criticize him have no idea how being a professional esports player works. Despite BTK having a dominant run in the NACT 2023 Fall Season, the team struggled to win a match against TheOhioBrothers (TOB). This led to some fans criticizing MobaZane for being the reason for his team’s loss against its biggest rival.
MobaZane blames lack of practice for losing against TheOhioBrothers in NACT 2023 Fall regular season
Through a livestream, MobaZane shared his thoughts on what may be the reason for BTK losing against TOB for two weeks straight in the NACT 2023 Fall regular season. According to him, the three key players of TOB had more than enough time to build chemistry since the M4 World Championship, while his team did not have enough practice.
“It’s basically the same thing as last season where three of them went to M4 and came back and then made another team… it’s the same thing now, except for MSC (2023), regardless if they did bad or not, they just had more practice” he explained.
After Team Outplay’s upsetting performance in the MSC 2023, the team disbanded. Four of its key players Jang "Hoon" Seong-hun, Oscar "SHARK" Vo, Carlos "bestplayer1" Vega, and Promise, rebuilt their former team, TheOhioBrothers, for the NACT 2023 Fall Season.
MobaZane also addressed the criticisms that claimed he is the reason why BTK is struggling to win against TOB in the ongoing tournament. He claims that the people who made these claims have no idea what it’s like to be a pro player.
“The people who say that I’m the problem are so beyond stupid, man. None of you are pros, none of you are even nearly like that, even as high ranked,” he said.
He further elaborated on his statement and asked “What do you think you know about Mobile Legends?” claiming that his critics have no idea about Mobile Legends esports and that these claims are akin to “telling a chess Grandmaster how to play chess.”
The NACT 2023 Fall regular season is in its third and final phase. The top teams on the final phase shall proceed to the playoffs stage where they will compete for the M5 World Championship ticket as well as the lion’s share of the $25,600 USD prize pool.
