The M5 Group Draw results have been finalized and have distributed all qualified teams into their respective groups for the upcoming international tournament. All qualified teams from various regions shall converge in EVM Convention Center, Quezon City, Philippines for the group stage where they shall compete for a slot in the Knockout Stage. The crowned champion in the M5 World Championship will claim the lion’s share of the $900,000 USD prize pool and the title of the strongest team in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports. This also marks the first time a Chinese team shall compete in the event. However, it first needs to win the M5 Wild Card stage to join the main event.
M5 Group Draw rules
As posted by the official Facebook page of Mobile Legends Esports, all qualified teams shall be drawn according to the following criteria;
All teams from the same region cannot be drawn into the same group.
All teams from Pool 1 will not be drawn into the same group
All teams from Pool 3 will not be drawn into the same group
The order of the drawing is: ABCD - ABCD- ABCD- ABCD
