The American esports organization, Immortals revamps its League of Legends: Wild Rift roster by welcoming the return of its former member Lebmont. The pro player will be playing as the team’s jungler, replacing Amir “YikeZ” Hossein who recently left the team. The team has been grinding hard since last year, finishing first place in last year’s RiftMSTRS open qualifiers #1 and 2 and later secured second place in the grand finals of the tournament. With the return of its former jungler, Immortals sets its goal to secure a spot in the upcoming Wild Rift Icons Global Championships 2022, scheduled to commence sometime this year.

Immortals welcomes a returning Wild Rift pro player

While Immortals had an amazing run in the North American (NA) Wild Rift esports scene, it was not able to secure a spot in the Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021. The team finished second place at the grand finals of the Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021, the NA qualifier for the mobile MOBA title’s fist international esports event.

One of its members YikeZ was soon released from the main roster on 8th January to be followed by the return of its former Jungler, Lebmont. This was announced through the official social media handles of Immortals.

The new roster is composed of the following members;

  • Iraq “IraqiZorro” Hamza Najim - Baron Lane

  • Jang “Hoon” Du-hoon - Mid Lane

  • Gichan “Gume” Won - Dragon Lane

  • Ethan “Charm” Lin - Support Lane

  • Lebmont - Jungle Lane

  • Anh “PYU” Jeong-ho - Coach

Immortals is a professional esports organization based in the United States and was founded on 7th Oct 2015. The organization previously held a ton of esports titles and are now currently focused on managing three teams from various esports titles such as League of Legends PC, Valorant, and Wild Rift.

Immortals is currently one of the strongest teams in the NA Wild Rift esports scene. Last year, the team garnered a lot of attention after acquiring the former Mobile Legends esports pro player and content creator, Hoon. Even though the team was not able to join the prestigious Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021, the team has caught the attention of a lot of Wild Rift fans from around the world.

Immortals was able to secure championship titles in various local Wild Rift esports events such as the Team Liquid Weekly: NA #6, RiftMSTRS Open Qualifiers and the Samsung Mondays - Week 3.

It will be interesting to see if Immortals can secure a ticket to this year’s Wild Rift Icons Global Championships 2022.
