GodLike Esports’ manager Kammaljeet Singh recently shared updates on the organization’s international PUBG Mobile roster and Battleground Mobile India’s (BGMI) potential return. Kammaljeet revealed that there had been no progress with the organization’s PUBG Mobile roster, as the organization is currently focusing on the Indian BGMI scene.

Talking about BGMI’s potential return, Kammaljeet mentioned that the return date was not sure. However, he cited Skyesports’ owner, Shiva Nandy, who claimed the game would likely return by the end of April or the first week of May.

Kammaljeet reveals GodLike Esports is focussing on BGMI over PUBG Mobile

Earlier this year, in February, GodLike Esports and Stalwart Esports terminated their partnership after a successful stint of six months. The organization’s owner Chetan “Kronten” Chandgude revealed that the organization wanted to expand its esports efforts globally by hiring an international team, but Krafton’s regulations do not allow two teams within the same organization. He also stated that 2023 is poised to be a significant year for both GodLike Esports and the Indian esports scene, hinting at GodLike Esports’ big move. Following this, he also hinted at the organization’s international PUBG Mobile roster on multiple occasions.

In a recent livestream, one of Kammaljeet’s viewers asked him if there was any update about GodLike Esports international PUBG Mobile roster. Responding to this, Kammaljeet stated there was no progress regarding the roster, in contrast to Kronten’s previous statement. He explained that positive rumors about BGMI’s potential return have been developing. As a result, the organization is currently focusing on the Indian BGMI scene, and the international roster is not a priority at the moment.

Kammaljeet believes BGMI will return soon

In the livestream, Kammaljeet’s viewers also asked him about the potential return of BGMI. He was quick to state that he did not have any update regarding the game’s return. He also noted that there were conflicting reports about when the game would return, with some sources indicating that it would come back in April while others suggested it could be by the end of April.

In a recent Instagram Story, Shiva Nandy stated that he spoke with government officials, who claimed that BGMI would return anytime in May or April. Talking about this, Kammaljeet stated, “He said that he had spoken with one of the officials from the government. Most likely, it will return by the end of this month or the first week of May, but the game is coming back,” he added.
