In April 2021, S8UL Esports unveiled its 15,000 sq. ft. luxurious gaming facility named S8UL Gaming House 2.0 in a 21-minute-long video. S8UL Gaming House 2.0 offers various facilities to the organization’s content creators and pro players. In a recent live stream, two of three co-owners of S8UL Esports, Lokesh “Goldy” Jain and Naman “MortaL” Mathur, revealed the cost of S8UL Gaming House 2.0’s building and the initial setup cost of the entire gaming facility.

S8UL Gaming House 2.0’s set up cost is around INR 1.5 Crores to INR 2 Crores

MortaL recently hosted a watch party for a PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC 2022). Goldy and Pakistani YouTuber Jehanzeb “MrJayPlays” also joined him in this watch party. During this session, MrJayPlays was conveying questions asked by his viewers to MortaL and Goldy. One of the viewers asked about the cost of S8UL Gaming House 2.0, from building construction to gaming facility setup. Responding to it, MortaL revealed that S8UL Gaming House 2.0 is set up in a rented building and can’t add its construction cost to the total cost of the gaming facility.

Revealing the approximate cost of the building, Goldy said, “The cost of the building might be around INR 12 Crores, but we are here in the building on rent.” Following this, he also revealed the initial setup cost of the gaming house. “If you want to know how much was our initial setup cost and how much is our running setup, the cost for all of that was somewhere around INR 1.5 Crores to INR 2 Crores,” said Goldy.

MrJayPlays then asked whose idea it was to build a bootcamp with all the facilities. Responding to it, Goldy said, “We used to live in a small bootcamp; it was very small. We used that bootcamp for a year.” He added, “Five creators used to stream in a single small room. The same five creators used to sleep in another room of the same size. We managed to live in that bootcamp for a year. It was the hard work of every S8UL creator that was a part of that bootcamp and should be credited.”

MrJayPlays commended the members of S8UL Esports for sticking together for such a long time and without any jealousy. Responding to this, Goldy said that there is no sort of jealousy between any members of S8UL Esports, and the mindset of the organization’s co-owners, himself, MortaL, and Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, is to grow with everyone else.

S8UL Esports is an Indian organization led by three of the most prominent faces from the Indian gaming community, MortaL, Thug, and Goldy. It was formed by a partnership between two major Indian esports organizations, Team SouL and 8bit. S8UL started its journey with PUBG Mobile and came into the limelight after winning the PUBG Mobile India Series in 2019. As the organization included popular Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI - erstwhile PUBG Mobile) content creators, it quickly attracted a huge fan following. Soon later, it became one of India’s most prominent and popular esports organizations.
