Among these is the Global Esports Fight Night, scheduled to run from June 18th to June 21st, with a prize pool of INR 5 Lakhs. However, to the disappointment of many BGMI esports fans, the fan-favorite team, GodLike Esports, was missing from the lineup.

GodLike Esports Takes a Break to Formulate New Strategies and Promises a Strong Comeback

In response to the fans' speculations, Amar Chandgude, co-owner of GodLike Esports, shed light on the situation. He explained that the team had decided to take a break and focus on formulating new strategies. Amar acknowledged that their current strategies had been read and countered by their opponents. While this break might extend through a few tournaments, Amar assured the fans that GodLike Esports would make a comeback in the upcoming tournament organized by Nodwin Gaming.

Addressing concerns about GodL's firepower, Amar stated that the players were still capable of engaging in fights and emerging victorious. The current GodLike Esports BGMI roster includes Vivek "ClutchGod" Horo, Jonathan "JONATHAN" Amaral,  Suraj "Neyoo" Majumdar, Abhishek "ZGOD" Choudhary, Arjun "SHADOW" Mandhalkar, and Abhijeet "GHATAK" Andhare. Jonathan had recently made it into the top fraggers list for Skyesports Championship Series 2023.

Neyoo also revealed that the team had been facing some issues but was confident that they would regain their original form. In the recent SCS 2023, GodL finished 12th. However, they had a better outing in BGMI Rising, the official launch party of BGMI, where they secured a second-place finish.
