GodLike and Team Vitality Visas Cleared for COD Mobile World Championship 2022
Members of GodLike and Team Vitality have confirmed that visas for their players have been cleared for the Call of Duty (COD) Mobile World Championship 2022. At first, both teams were having issues with getting their visas approved. However, finally, all the issues have been resolved, and both teams will represent India on a global stage in Raleigh, North Carolina, in the United States of America (USA).
On 14th August, Godlike Esports won the COD Mobile World Championship 2022 India Regional Playoffs. Team Vitality lost against Godlike in the Finals but also made it to the COD Mobile World Championship 2022 Stage 5, i.e., the main LAN event. The event is set to be played in a LAN setting in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. It will start on 15th December and last for four days, ending on 18th December.
GodLike and Team Vitality to fly to the USA for COD Mobile World Championship 2022
On 11th December, the in-game leader (IGL) of GodLike, Jash “Learn” Shah, posted a tweet confirming that he and his teammates have received approval for their US visas. However, he mentioned that their passports would take two more days to arrive. Unfortunately, the visa of Husanbir “Grim” Singh, the team’s coach, has been denied, and the team will have to compete in the championship without its coach. As per Learn’s tweet, the team’s passports will arrive on 13th December, and it will take over 26 hours for them to reach the venue. Hence, GodLike will reach the event just in time.
On the other hand, the manager of Team Vitality, Melson “Mello” Miranda, confirmed that all the players have received approval for their US visas in a tweet. In an Instagram story, the manager implied that the team had already left for the venue.
