Rushindra Sinha, the founder and CEO of Global Esports, recently spoke about the organization’s valuation and future goals. He revealed that the Valorant franchise league slot was valued at approximately $20 Million USD, and the revenue generated by the organization in the last 18 months was equal to what it will generate in the league every year. Sinha also revealed that the organization’s primary goal is to create a business that will operate irrespective of how its teams perform in esports.

Global Esports aims to become a business that can operate independently of its esports performance

In a recent livestream, a viewer asked Sinha what the valuation of Global Esports was. Responding to this, Sinha referred to the value of the Valorant franchise league slot, which he claimed was valued at approximately $20 Million. He clarified that this was not his own estimation but could be verified online. “What league will net us every year for the next three years is what Global Esports had already started doing in revenue in the last 18 months,” he added.

Another viewer asked Sinha if the valuation of the organization was over ₹450 Crore. Responding to this, he emphasized that the organization’s primary objective was not to engage in the valuation game but rather to create value. He drew comparisons to other companies, such as Uber and WeWork, which are known for their high valuations. However, Sinha noted that Global Esports was not interested in following in their footsteps.

Sinha expressed that Global Esports’ primary goal was to do something that “very few esports organizations on earth will ever manage to do” - establish a scalable and sustainable business model that can operate independently of its esports performance, which is a rarity in the industry. “I think there may be a handful, single-digit companies on earth, in this entire ecosystem, who have the capability of doing it, let alone the actual execution and ideation that requires to get there,” he added.

Global Esports is one of the oldest and most successful esports organizations in India. With a multitude of achievements under its belt, the organization has firmly established itself as a formidable force in the competitive esports landscape of India. It currently features esports rosters in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), New State Mobile, and Valorant. It features one of the best BGMI teams in the country, which recently won the coveted trophy of the BGMI Master Series, and it is also one of the 30 partnered teams in Riot Games’ Valorant franchise league.
