Dhiraj “NODDY” Yadav
Tipu “RAHUL” Sultan
Surajit “SJ27” Majumdar
Ranojit “RJ75” Majumdar
Shubham “AJ” Jaybhaya
Prior to joining Global Esports, all five players represented Team iNSANE at the Snapdragon Conquest New State Mobile Invitational, where it finished in 10th position. The team put forth a decent performance and even won one out of twelve matches.
Before the Snapdragon Conquest New State Mobile Invitational, RAHUL, SJ27, and RJ75 played for Team Unstoppables at the first Indian New State Mobile LAN event, The Esports Club - New State Open. The players demonstrated a good performance to finish in 5th position in this tournament.
Sj27 and Rj75 have been playing together since the start of this year. Both players played numerous unofficial tournaments together, including Villager Esports Winter Masters Invitational and Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 1. The other three players have played numerous competitive unofficial tournaments as well.
This roster will play its first tournament – ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: New State Mobile Open – for Global Esports. A total of 32 teams will be competing as part of the Challenger Stage, 16 directly invited teams and 16 that have qualified through the Open Qualifier. Global Esports is one of the 16 directly invited teams to the Challenger Stage of the tournament, which will commence on 5th January. This tournament features a humongous prize pool of $123,000 USD (INR 1,00,00,000) and will see the best New State Mobile teams in the region.
Due to the unavailability of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), a lot of BGMI-centric Indian esports organizations are finding refuge in New State Mobile. Prominent organizations like S8UL Esports, GodLike Esports, Team Tamilas, Hyderabad Hydras, Marcos Gaming, and more have started focussing on New State Mobile. As 2023 has just begun, it will be exciting to see how Krafton shapes up the New State Mobile esports ecosystem.
