GHATAK Temporarily Benches Neyoo From GodLike Esports’ BGMI Roster

In a recent livestream, GodLike Esports’ Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) coach Abhijeet “GHATAK” Andhare stated that he had benched Neyoo for not practicing the game.
He stated that he reprimanded Neyoo and will only allow him back on the team when he practices and improves his gameplay.
Neyoo also confirmed that he had been benched.

GodLike Esports’ Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) coach Abhijeet “GHATAK” Andhare revealed that he had benched GodLike Esports’ professional BGMI player Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar. He added that he reprimanded Neyoo for not practicing BGMI and improving his gameplay. He advised Neyoo to practice and improve his skills before playing on the main team. He also expressed confidence in his potential if he consistently plays the game. 

Neyoo later confirmed in his own livestream that he had been temporarily benched and needed to play seriously.


GHATAK benches Neyoo for not practicing BGMI

In a recent livestream, GodLike Esports professional BGMI player Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral was playing BGMI along with his coach GHATAK. After a game, while discussing the team’s performance, GHATAK told JONATHAN that he had reprimanded Neyoo the previous night and, thus, demotivated him. Explaining why he scolded him, GHATAK stated that he was not practicing or working on improving his gameplay at all. “I told him to practice first, improve his game first, then play on the main team,” he added. “Now, he has been practicing the game since the morning,” he added.

Following this, JONATHAN asked GHATAK if Neyoo was in the bootcamp with him. Responding to this, GHATAK stated that Neyoo was indeed in the bootcamp and added he himself called him to the bootcamp.

GHATAK also expressed his confidence in Neyoo’s skills and potential, stating that if he plays the game, works hard, and practices consistently for 10 to 15 days back to back, he will dominate in the lobby.

Following this, In Neyoo’s livestream, he also addressed his absence from the team in scrims and confirmed that he had been temporarily benched. He added that it was time to play seriously.


Previously, GHATAK expressed his frustration with GodLike Esports’ BGMI team and criticized them for not being as dedicated to the game as they were when they joined the team. He expressed frustration over their lack of focus and practice and stated that he might have to resort to benching or replacing players who do not work hard. Taking action, as said, he has benched Neyoo temporarily until he comes back on track and starts performing well. It will be interesting to see how long Neyoo will take to make a comeback on the team.
