Garena Announces Free Fire Tournament 'Diwali Dhamaka' With $2000 Prize Pool

Garena has announced Diwali Dhamaka, a three-day festive Free Fire tournament which will be exclusively live streamed on BOOYAH! from 1st to 3rd November 2021, 11:30 AM (IST) onwards. It will feature 24 top-tier teams that will be competing for a total prize pool of $2,000 USD (INR 2,24,718).

There is also something special planned for the viewers and fans. They stand a chance to win exciting Free Fire drops such as emotes, jerseys, and multiple crates while watching the live broadcast of the tournament on the official BOOYAH! India channel.

Diwali Dhamake Free Fire Tournament - Complete Information

The Free Fire tournament which is being held in partnership with Critical X will exclusively be live streamed on BOOYAH! Listed below are the names of 20 teams out of the total 24 teams featuring in the tournament:

Group-A

  • 2B Gamer

  • Assassins Army

  • Gaming Aura

  • Black Flag Army

  • Gaming Girls

  • Desi Gamers

  • GodLike Esports

  • Munna Bhai Gaming

  • Sniper Lord

  • Total Gaming

Group-B

  • 4 Unknown

  • PVS Gaming

  • Team Lava

  • Tonde Gamer

  • Galaxy Racer

  • CRX Divine

  • Titanium Gamer

  • Head Hunters

  • UnGraduate Gamer

  • Team Elite

These teams will be divided into two groups of 12 teams each, competing in a classic Battle Royale game mode. Each team will consist of eight players divided as follows:

  • Four members of the team will be their main players.

  • Three more members will be added as teammates.

  • There will also be one streamer who will be a part of the team.

A points system will be used to determine the winners at the end of each day from 1st to 3rd November. A single map consisting of either Bermuda, Purgatory, or Kalahari will be played by a maximum of 12 teams or 48 players, four players per team.

The players and teams will be competing for a total prize pool of $2,000 USD (INR 2,24,718). It is currently unknown how many participants will be included in this prize pool and how much will they be receiving.

There is something for the fans and viewers as well. Garena will be giving away free live drops during the course of the event which includes Free Fire themed emotes, jerseys, and multiple crates. Those who view the livestream for 30 and 60 minutes respectively, will stand a chance to win these amazing drops.
