Free Fire Winter Invitational Announced Featuring INR 10,00,000 Prize Pool
FFWI will be featuring a new tournament format.
Garena has announced the Free Fire Winter Invitational (FFWI) featuring a total prize pool of INR 10,00,000 ($13,212 USD). The event is scheduled to take place from 15th to 19th December 2021. This event will also be following a unique concept, where each captain will have to create his/her own Free Fire team from an existing pool of players via a drafting process.
This is a first-of-its-kind Free Fire tournament that is being organzied by Garena, where it shall follow an entirely new competitive format which they have never tried out before. A total of 12 teams will be competing in this tournament with plenty of high calibre action in store for fans from across the country.

FFWI - Tournament Format
The players who were a part of the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall and Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) have been invited to participate in this tournament. From within this pool of players, 12 captains will be selected through community voting. These captains will then create their Free Fire teams from the remaining pool of players via a drafting process.
With all-new teams that have never been seen before, the tournament promises new strategies to watch out for and excitement galore! The most exciting match in FFWI will see star players and rivals, TG-Delete and NGX-vasiyoCRJ, playing together for the first time in official Garena tournaments.Garena
FFWI - Tournament Schedule
The FFWI will take place from 15th to 19th December 2021, following a league format over a period of five days:
Day 1 - 15th December - 18:00 IST
Day 2 - 16th December - 18:00 IST
Day 3 - 17th December - 18:00 IST
Day 4 - 18th December - 18:00 IST
Day 5 - 19th December - 18:00 IST
