Garena has gone live with the pre-registrations of Free Fire Max on the Google Play Store.

Garena has previously mentioned that that Free Fire and Free Fire Max players will be able to play together irrespective of the game version.

Garena has gone live with the pre-registrations of Free Fire Max, the enhanced version of the regular Free Fire that offers better graphics, design, and features, with higher minimum system requirements. These pre-registrations are currently taking place only for Android users across the world on the Google Play Store.

So users can simply go to the Play Store, search for 'Garena Free Fire Max', click on 'Pre-Register', and they are good to go. Once the game is available and ready to play, it will be automatically downloaded onto the user's registered mobile device.

While Android users will be able to pre-register for Free Fire Max via the Google Play Store, iOS users will still have to wait as Garena has not announced any release date for them so far.

Earlier, Garena had clarified that Free Fire Max is set to be a standalone mobile battle royale which will require enhanced specifications to run properly, so low end devices might suffer to run this game smoothly.

The minimum system requirements to run Free Fire Max on Android devices are as follows,

  • Android Version: 4.1 and above

  • Download Size: 1.50 GB

  • Minimum RAM: 2 GM or more

  • Recommended RAM: 6GB or more

Apart from this, Garena has also confirmed that regardless of the game version, both Free Fire and Free Fire Max players will be able to play together, due to the Firelink technology. This further enables the players to do the following,

  • Use their same existing Free Fire account to login to Free Fire MAX.

  • Sync all accounts data across both the applications, including account progress and game items.

  • Play all game modes with all Free Fire players, regardless of the application that they use.

How to Pre-Register for Free Fire Max

All interested Free Fire player wether old or new can pre-register for the enhanced version Free Fire Max by following the steps mentioned below,

  • Head over to the Google Play Store, iOS users will have to wait as the pre-registrations is currently only available for Android users.

  • Search for 'Garena Free Fire Max' and go to the game page. Here you will come across a pre-registration icon, click on it.
