Tournament organizer Indian Gaming League has announced Free Fire Max Armageddon Season 2.
A total of 18 teams from across the country have been invited to compete in this tournament.

One of the biggest mobile battle royale titles in the world, Free Fire, is still banned in India since February last year. However, the superior version of the same game, Free Fire Max, is still available in the country for everyone to enjoy.

To keep the professional scene alive, local tournament organizer Indian Gaming League has announced an invitational Free Fire Max tournament, Armageddon Season 2, with 18 of the best teams from across the country competing in it.

Free Fire Max Armageddon Season 2: Complete Details

After the success of Armageddon Season 1, the Indian Gaming league has come back with the second season of the tournament to provide some top-notch Free Fire action between the best teams from around the country.

A total of 18 teams have been invited for this Free Fire Max tournament, split into three groups of six teams each.

Schedule

The Armageddon Season 2 has been divided into three stages and will be taking place from 26th to 31st January.

  • Play-In Stage: 26th to 28th January

    26th Jan | A x B | 6 Matches | 18:00 (IST)

    27th Jan | A x B | 6 Matches | 18:00 (IST)

    28th Jan | A x B | 6 Matches | 18:00 (IST)

  • Wildcard Stage: 29th to 30th January

    29th Jan | 6 Matches | 18:00 (IST)

    30th Jan | 6 Matches | 18:00 (IST)

  • Grand Finals: 31st January

    31st Jan | 6 Matches | 18:00 (IST)

Format

  • A total of 18 teams have been invited for the Play-In Stage of the tournament, divided into three groups of six teams each, following a simple round-robin format.

  • On each match day a total of six matches will be played between the different groups.

  • According to the overall points table, the top six teams will be selected to qualify for the Grand Finals.

  • The remaining 12 teams will continue to compete through the Wildcard Stage.

  • Once again, six matches will be played on each match day and on the basis of the overall points table, the top six teams will move on to the Grand Finals.

  • The remaining six teams will be eliminated from the tournament as the 12 qualified teams take on each other in the Grand Finals.

  • A total of six matches will be played on the final day of the tournament and the team on top of the overall points table will be crowned as the champion of Armageddon Season 2.

Prize Pool

The tournament features a total prize pool of INR 30,000 which will be split only between the top three teams on the basis of their overall placement.
