Free Fire Achieves Guinness World Record for Largest Projected Video Game Display
Free Fire has set another world record for having the largest projected video game display in Las Vegas, Nevada on 19th Aug 2021. The projection was made up of over 1.6 million Lumens in order to light one side of a building. The screen where the Free Fire display is being projected was over 4,300 square meters (sqm). According to a report from , this massive milestone has been recognized by the Guinness World Records and is said to be twice the size of the previous record-holder, Xbox. Free Fire will also be revealing a video detailing this record-breaking milestone in the near future.
Free Fire acquired record-breaking milestone for largest projected video game display
In collaboration with 3D projection company Limelight Projection and WorldStage, Garena has produced the world’s largest projected video game display that is double the size of the previous Guinness World Record holder.
The display was built in Tropicana Las Vegas resort amid the fourth-anniversary celebration of Garena’s biggest mobile Battle Royale title, Free Fire. The projection can be seen through the official video posted by Garena on its social media handles.

According to , this milestone has been recognized by the Guinness World Records and broke the previous record which was set back in November 2020, when US-based Paintscaping presented 1,774 sqm of Copper Mountain in Colorado on behalf of Xbox.
Since its release in August 2017, Free Fire has seen a lot of changes and milestones which were celebrated both in-game and in real life through various collaborations with popular artists all over the world. The Free Fire 4th Anniversary event was celebrated in collaboration with popular artists such as Alok, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, KSHMR, and Zafrir. A new song called Reunion has also been released as the anniversary’s theme.
Garena is also giving away a ton of in-game loot for Free Fire players. During the peak day event which will kick off on 28th Aug 2021, players will receive a new character named Thiva just by simply logging in to the game.
Garena’s popular mobile Battle Royale title, Free Fire has reached a ton of milestones in this year alone and is looking like one of the most popular media franchises in the world. It will be interesting to see what more surprises we’ll be seeing in the future for Free Fire.
