Maintenance Schedule

Garena has scheduled maintenance for Free Fire tomorrow on 4th August, due to which the game will not be available from 9:30 AM to 5:45 PM IST. During this time the developers will be working on the new Free Fire update.

New 1v1 Game Mode

As part of the 4th August update a new game mode will be added to Free Fire. The new update will feature a 1v1 game mode that will allow players to go against each other head-to-head, maybe to settle personal differences like who is better, or simply improve oneself by going up against a skilled player.

New Map

The upcoming solo showdown game mode will also be accompanied by a new map, specifically created for this 1v1 battle. According to the developers, this map is packed and strategically constructed, perfect for some quick paced and nerve wracking action.

The update will be rolling out with it three new Free Fire weapon attachments, which are as follows:

  • AR Magazine

This will increase the fire rate of all Assault Rifles when attached, but at the same time decrease a single magazine's capacity.

  • Shotgun Muzzle

This attachment will increase the damage output of a shotgun as it enables more bullets to be fired at the same time.

  • SMG Muzzle

This attachment can be used by all Semi Machine Guns. It increases the damage output of the weapon when fired constantly.
