Former LPL Player Uzi Forms His Own Wild Rift Team UFG E-sports Club

Retired League of Legends Professional League (LPL) player, Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao, is returning to the esports scene through his own Wild Rift team roster, Ultra Fantastic Gaming (UFG) E-sports Club. In partnership with popular singer, rapper, and actor, Fan ChengCheng, UFG E-sports Club is currently looking for potential professional esports players to join its Wild Rift roster. The recruitment post was made through the official Weibo page of the organization. Uzi is a former pro player of Royal Never Give Up and has won several champion titles such as the LPL 2018 Summer Playoffs and the Asian Games 2018 Main Event. Former member and bot laner of Royals Never Give Up, Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao has announced that he is building his own Wild Rift team, UFG E-sports Club, in partnership with popular Chinese singer, rapper, and actor, Fan ChengCheng from the C-pop group, NEXT.

UFG E-sports Club is currently recruiting potential members for its Wild Rift team roster, according to their Weibo post. Interested applicants can check the official post to see if they are qualified to join the team. The organization states that application is totally free and rookies are welcome to apply as long as they meet the requirements.

Uzi is a retired esports pro who previously played under the Chinese team, Royals Never Give Up. Despite being known for his boisterous and domineering personality, he is renowned as one of the highest mechanical AD Carries in the League of Legends PC esports scene, especially if he plays using his iconic marksman champion, Vayne.

The pro player retired from professional esports on 2nd June 2020 due to injuries caused by intense training. According to the official page of Royals Never Give Up, it was meant to be a short break but Uzi has decided to retire after missing out on the 2020 LPL Spring Split.

With Uzi’s return to the LPL esports scene through Riot Game’s mobile MOBA title, Wild Rift, it will be interesting to see if he will be able to build a team and teach them his ways of becoming one of the best pro players in the LPL esports scene. Fans will have to wait for the organization’s official team roster announcement in the future.
