EVOS Legends has officially announced its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 10 roster with a surprising twist. Fans were speculating that the team would acquire a pro player from the Philippines (PH). However, the roster reveal showcased a fully Indonesian squad with no foreign pro players in its lineup. Three members who were previously relegated to the esports organization’s development division, EVOS Icon, shall head to the professional scene and showcase their improvements. In exchange, the three remaining veterans who won the M1 World Championship shall not be competing for the team in the upcoming MPL ID Season 10.
EVOS Legends Reveals MPL ID Season 10 roster without PH imports
The trend of foreign teams looking to acquire pro players from the Philippines (PH) is one of the hot topics in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) community right now. Rumors had also spread about EVOS Legends looking to acquire the former ONIC PH star player Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera. However, the recent roster reveal may have debunked these rumors as the squad features a fully Indonesian pro player lineup.
The team is composed of the following players;
Darren "Tazz DD" - Multi Role
Ferdyansyah "Ferxiic" Kamaruddin - Jungler
Raihan "Bajan" Ardy - Roamer
Sebastian "Pendragon" Arthur - EXP Laner
Muhammad "Cr1te" Nur Effandy - Mid Laner
Vincentsius "VaanStrong" Ivan Adrianto - Multi Role
Hafizhan "Clover" Hidayatullah - Gold Laner
Bjorn "Zeys" Ong - Coach
Steven "Ageee" Andreas Gunawan - Analyst
Gerrion "Vellion" Odolf Sugiarto - Analyst
Stenley "TaxStump" Hermawan - Analyst
With the veterans skipping the MPL ID Season 10, the EVOS Legends lineup no longer has any of the members of the W.O.R.L.D. (Muhammad "Wannn" Ridwan, Eko "Oura" Julianto, Gustian "Rekt", Ihsan "Luminaire" Besari Kusudana, Yurino "Donkey" Putra Angkawidjaja) team that spearheaded the esports organization into winning the M1 World Championship.
In exchange, the roster is composed of promising players who are looking to prove themselves worthy of waving the white tiger banner. Clover is the only remaining veteran in the EVOS Legends squad.
The new analyst Age is the former coach of Bigetron Alpha. His addition to the team shall boost the white tiger’s performance in securing the championship title for the upcoming league event.
While this may look like the final roster of EVOS Legends, the roster reveal video ended with a screen that says “To Be Continued” followed by a short frame of someone wearing the team’s jersey looking outside a window. This means that the esports organization may be teasing a grand reveal for a mysterious new member similar to how Bigetron Alpha teased its fans with the arrival of Mark Christian "Markyyyyy" Capacio. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for the continuation of the video in the near future.
With a solid lineup of rising stars, it shall be most interesting to see if EVOS Legends can put forth the championship performance it once did during the M1 World Championship and use it to win the upcoming MPL ID Season 10.
