The pro player was one of the most iconic Filipino talents in the MLBB esports scene. Through a social media post, Dlar expressed his gratitude to the Indonesian fanbase for their unwavering support. The pro player is currently a free agent with no news on which team may be looking to acquire him for future tournaments.

Dlar bids farewell to EVOS Legends and Indonesian fans

Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera has transitioned from being a player for EVOS Legends to becoming a free agent. The news of his departure was recently confirmed by MPL Indonesia, leaving fans and the esports community abuzz with speculation about his future endeavors.

Dlar's journey in the Indonesia league has been marked by highs and lows, earning him the admiration of fans. His skills as an EXP Laner for EVOS Legends were particularly impactful during MPL ID Season 10, where he contributed significantly to his team's performance. This caught the attention of many who are looking forward to seeing more of his performance.

The MPL Season 11 saw a shift for Dlar, as he transitioned from a core player to a talent for EVOS Legends. Despite focusing on being the team’s “Legends Creator” he was able to showcase his versatility by competing for his team during the MSC 2023 tournament held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Notably, he faced off against his former teammate Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol, who was representing the eventual champion, Onic Esports. This encounter added an extra layer of excitement to the competition, highlighting the interconnectivity of the esports community.

Dlar plans to go back to the Philippines

Through Twitter (now known as “X”) posts, Dlar conveyed his intention to return to the Philippines and embark on a new phase of his career.

“I’m going back to PH guys. Thank you very much Indonesia,” he captioned.

On a separate post, he revealed that he is looking to join a new team as soon as possible as he wanted to prove he is still at the top of his game.

“Looking for a team, if not this season then for next season. I’m feeling super competitive again + I want to prove I can still fight,” he wrote.

As Dlar enters this new chapter as a free agent, his journey in the competitive Mobile Legends scene continues to captivate the imagination of fans. It will be interesting to see Dlar make a major comeback in his own region and join a team for future MLBB tournaments.
