EVOS Esports’ Filipino import Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera revealed that he is contemplating trying out for another Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team. The pro player clarified that he simply wants to try out for another team and not specifically join them. He also expressed that he still loves EVOS Esports despite him not being able to play much in the recently concluded MLBB Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 10. Dlar’s journey in the previous league season was short-lived as the esports organization demoted him to its development league roster in favor of other promising talents during a mid-season roster update.

EVOS Dlar asks fans if trying out for other MLBB teams would be a good idea

EVOS Dlar’s journey in Indonesia was rough compared to his other Filipino colleagues who joined other Indonesian teams. The pro player debuted under EVOS Legends but was shortly relegated to EVOS Icon, the esports organization’s MLBB Development League (MDL) squad, in exchange for Rizqi "Saykots" Damank. This decision caused fans to criticize EVOS Esports, citing that this was the reason for its upsetting performance in the MPL ID Season 10.

Dlar previously revealed that he wanted to join RRQ Hoshi if Rivaldi "R7" Fatah decided to retire and leave his position open. In a recent livestream, the pro player once again opened up about the topic of him trying out for other teams.

“Do you think guys, it is good to try out for other team? Just try out, a trial on another team,” stated Dlar.

While he does think of trying out for other MLBB teams, the pro player also clarified that he still wants to stay under EVOS Legends even though he wasn’t given enough of a chance to shine in the MPL ID Season 10.

“Because I still love EVOS even though I don’t play this Season. I still love EVOS guys,” said Dlar.

EVOS Legends’ head coach Bjorn "Zeys" Ong previously revealed that Dlar may be playing in MPL ID Season 11. However, the team’s full roster for the upcoming season is yet to be officially revealed.

Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates on whether Dlar will be joining another team or will he be with EVOS Legends to claim another shot at the championship title in the upcoming MPL ID Season 11.
