COD Mobile India Challenge Announced With Battle Royale and Multiplayer Modes

Nodwin Gaming, along with Activision, has announced one of the biggest COD Mobile tournaments for the Indian mobile gaming audience, Call of Duty: Mobile India Challenge, which features a massive total prize pool of INR 60,00,000 ($77,354 USD).

Two seasons of the tournament have been announced for both Battle Royale and Multiplayer game mode enthusiasts, catering to a larger audience pool depending on their preference, which includes participating in both if they are up for the challenge.

Both these tournaments are open to all players, making it accessible and fair for all participants, be it a new aspiring team or seasoned professional players. Here are the complete details for both the Call of Duty (COD) Mobile India Challenge tournaments.

COD Mobile India Challenge - Battle Royale and Multiplayer: Complete Details

COD Mobile India Battle Royale Challenge

COD Mobile India Battle Royale Challenge will be the first tournament that will be taking place as part of Season 1. A total of two open qualifiers will be held and the top eight teams from each will be qualifying for the grand finals which is scheduled to take place from 4^th to 5^th June.

Qualifier Details

Two online qualifiers will be held with a maximum of 256 teams taking part in each. The registration dates and match schedule for both these open qualifiers are as follows,

• Qualifier 1

  Registration Dates: 7^th to 15^th May

  Match Dates: 17^th to 22^nd May

• Qualifier 2

  Registration Dates: 7^th to 22^nd May

  Match Dates: 24^th to 29^th May

• Grand Finals

  Match Dates: 4^th to 5^th June

Event Format

• The top 16 teams from each qualifier will move on to play a BO5 on the final match day of the respective qualifiers.

• A cumulative total will be taken and the top eight teams from each group will move ahead to the grand finals stage.

• Here, the final 16 teams will play a total of ten matches across two days to crown the champion.

Prize Pool Details

A total prize pool of INR 15,00,000 will be split between all the 16 teams that qualify for the grand finals as follows,

• 1^st - INR 6,00,000

• 2^nd - INR 3,00,000

• 3^rd - INR 1,40,000

• 4^th - INR 1,00,000

• 5^th to 8^th - INR 40,000

• 9^th to 12^th - INR 30,000

• 13^th to 16^th - INR 20,000

COD Mobile India Multiplayer Challenge

COD Mobile India Multiplayer Challenge will be the second tournament that will be taking place as part of Season 1. A total of two open qualifiers will be held and the top eight teams from each will be qualifying for the grand finals which is scheduled to take place from 25^th to 26^th June.

Qualifier Details

Two online qualifiers will be held with a maximum of 256 teams taking part in each. The registration dates and match schedule for both these open qualifiers are as follows,

• Qualifier 1

  Registration Dates: 7^th May to 5^th June

  Match Dates: 7^th to 12^th June
  

• Qualifier 2
  

  Registration Dates: 7^th May to 12^th June

  Match Dates: 14^th to 19^th June
  

• Grand Finals
  

  Match Dates: 25^th to 26^th June

Event Format

• The open qualifiers will be following a single-elimination format where each match will be featuring a BO3 series.

• All teams will be competing on Hardpoint game mode until the quarterfinals, after this Hardpoint shall be played in the 1st and 3rd rounds while Search & Destroy will be played in the second round.

• Also, both the semifinals and finals will be livestreamed with the top four teams from each qualifier moving on to the grand final stage.

• Here, a double-elimination bracket will be followed where each match will be a BO3 series except for the finals where a BO5 series will be played with the winners being crowned as the champions.

Prize Pool Details

A total prize pool of INR 15,00,000 will be split between all the eight teams that qualify for the grand finals as follows,

• 1^st - INR 6,00,000

• 2^nd - INR 3,00,000

• 3^rd - INR 2,00,000

• 4^th - INR 1,50,000

• 5^th to 6^th - INR 75,000

• 7^th to 8^th - INR 50,000
