The team booked its ticket to the Summoner Series Finals 2021 through the third Major circuit along with the teams Grilled Cheese, Immortals, and Sentinels. The Wild Rift team roster of Cloud9 was first established on 24th June 2021. However, the organization did not fully reveal its team roster aside from their very first member, Donovan “Zelo” Man. The team proceeded to participate in the Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 and secured its slot during the third Major.

Before the grand finale of the Wild Rift NA (North America) esports event, Cloud9 finally revealed its complete Wild rift team roster. The big announcement was made through the official Twitter page of the organization, revealing more details about its mysterious team roster.

The team is composed of the following members;

  • Donovan "Zelo" Man - Top/ Baron Lane

  • Julian "Tarzaned" Farokhian - Jungle Lane

  • Evan "Griff" Griffith - Marksman/ Dragon Lane

  • Alex "Meals" Phan - Mid Lane

  • Kyrie "Jxcki" Song - Support

  • Albert "Nano" Wuelleh - Coach

  • Jose "PepeTapia" Tapia - Coach

First established in 2013, the American esports organization, Cloud9, has been one of the most iconic and most beloved esports organizations globally. The organization holds a number of teams from various esports titles such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS GO), Fortnite, Halo, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Overwatch, PUBG: Mobile, Rainbow Six Siege, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Teamfight Tactics, VALORANT, and Wild Rift.

Its Wild Rift team is yet to taste the glory of a championship title. However, the team continues to thrive in the Wild Rift esports scene and is on its way to claim the crown of the Wild Rift Summoner Series Finals 2021 and hopefully book itself a ticket to the upcoming Horizon Cup 2021.

It will be interesting to see if Cloud9’s Wild Rift team delivers the same excitement that its other teams from other esports titles have delivered over the years.
