Ch4knu is aiming to improve himself and aim to win matches for his family and pet cats.
According to him, he is afraid to lose or else he won't have anything to feed his cats.

Omega Esports started strong in its first match of the week in the MPL PH (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines) Season 12 regular season. The renowned Comeback Kings emerged victorious against Nexplay Minana EVOS with a convincing 2-0 score. One of the team’s returning veterans Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog shared what motivates him to come back stronger than before. He also shared how his motivations are the key to him improving his lifestyle and being more disciplined as an MLBB pro player.

Through a post-match press conference, Omega Esports’ iconic roamer Ch4knu shared how disciplined he has become in preparation for the MPL PH Season 12. According to him, he used to sleep and wake up late which may have affected his performance in the previous season.

“Back then, I slept late. When the scrim is at 2:00 PM, I also wake up at 2:00 PM. But now, I wake up early, it’s all written when I have a schedule,” he explained.

As for what drove him to make such an improvement and be more disciplined, he revealed that his motivations, “his family and my pet cats.”

He further added, “I’m afraid that if we lose, I won’t have anything to feed my cats.”

Ch4knu flashed his signature picks with impressive results against Minana EVOS. His Khufra pick in game one finished with 10 assists and one kill while his iconic Grock pick scored seven assists and one death. Considering how the star roamer went on a brief hiatus last season, Ch4knu’s debut performance in Season 12 is quite impressive.

Omega Esports is looking to keep its momentum going as the team is set to face Blacklist International on 10th September at 6:30 PM (PHT). It will be interesting to see what more surprises the renowned Comeback Kings have in store for future matches.
