Following the trend of foreign teams acquiring Filipino imports, another team from Cambodia announced the acquisition of two promising pro players for its MLBB roster.

Through a Facebook post on 8th January, Team Max welcomed the Filipino talents - CADENZA and Flick to its squad.

“Today we officially welcome Cadenza and Flick to our Max Gang!” captioned the Cambodian team.

CADENZA is a former Nexplay EVOS roamer who participated in tournaments like the SIBOL 2022 National Team Selection for the 31st SEA Games where the squad finished as the runner-up team. He also participated in the MPL PH Season 9 where the squad finished 6th place.

Flick is a former ONIC PH talent and has also participated in the SIBOL Team Selection tournament as a jungler. However, the squad only finished fourth place in the tournament.

Team Max is one of the few Cambodian teams who signed Filipino talents for its MLBB roster alongside Impunity KH and the M4 World Championship representative, Burn x Team Flash. It will be interesting to see how the two Filipino talents shall perform in the Cambodian MLBB esports scene.
