Filipino prodigies Hesa and MP the King look to fortify Burn x Flash’s Cambodian MLBB squad

The trend of foreign teams looking to acquire pro players from the Philippines (PH) is one of the hot topics in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) community right now. Burn x Flash previously announced the acquisition of Zico as the team’s new head coach. However, the Cambodian squad is not done with its roster update.

Through a Facebook post on 2nd August, the esports organization posted that one of the promising prodigies that previously played for Nexplay EVOS - Jhonwin "Hesa" Dela Merced Vergara has arrived in Cambodia.

The post also mentioned another Nexplay prodigy Michael "MP the King" Medrocillo Endino. The pro player was one of the youngbloods who spearheaded Nexplay EVOS with his versatility as a Jungler into securing a playoffs spot in the MPL PH Season 9.

Hesa, on the other hand, is a former Gold Laner of Nexplay EVOS who helped the team secure a 4th place finish during the 8th season. The pro player also participated in Season 9 but was eventually released in the off-season in exchange for Mariusz “Donut” Villamero Tan in the Gold Lane.

With three PH imports on the team, it shall be most interesting to see how Burn x Flash performs in the upcoming season of MPL KH.
