Bren Esports’ rookies Rimuru and Malik may have their debut match in the third week of the MPL PH Season 8

The M2 World Champions, Bren Esports continues its losing streak in the second week of the MPL PH Season 8. The team recently finished an upsetting match against TNC Pro Team with a 0-2 match score, in favor of TNC Pro Team.

Through a post-match press conference, Bren Esports’ coach, Duckeyyy revealed that it may be a good time to make use of their new talents, Muj “Malik” Malik and Dwine “Rimuru” Enriquez for their upcoming match. He believes that it is the perfect time to see what the new players can offer for the team.

“Next week, we’ll be playing with the rookies just to mix things up,” stated Duckeyyy. “I still believe they are performing well individually, we just need to find the dynamic that will fit for this particular patch.”

Both Malik and Rimuru serve as the team’s Jungler, but both rookies are quite flexible and can play in the Gold Lane when needed.

The coach also admitted that they are indeed in a bad situation and are struggling to gain momentum in the MPL PH Season 8.

Yes, it is very obvious that we’re struggling, but then again it is also obvious that we need to make more changes,” stated Duckeyyy. “We made changes already but it seems that it’s not enough.

Coach Duckeyyy assures that Bren Esports is still playing at its best and that the team will continue to keep pushing forward for weeks to come.

But I guarantee you, these guys are still playing at their best, I still believe in them,” stated Duckeyyy.

Bren Esports will have plenty of time to improve its lineup as it is scheduled to go against Omega Esports on 10th Sept 2021 at 8:00 PM (PHT). It will be interesting to see if Rimuru and Malik will be able to flip the tide in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8 Week 3.
