BGMS Season 2 Day 3 Recap: Overall Standings and Match Summary

Day 3 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Master Series (BGMS) was a day of comebacks for teams like Insane Esports and Medal Esports. Insane Esports made a massive jump to place second  on the table, whereas Medal Esports placed in the fourth spot.

OR Esports, after an overall good performance throughout all three days, clinched the top spot with 76 points. Team Insane placed second with 69 points after an excellent performance on Day 3. Revenant Esports was placed 3rd with 64 points. Medal Esports and Team Soul were placed fourth and fifth with 63 points each. Medal Esports also became the only team to get two chicken dinners in the launch week of BGMS Season 2.

While Global Esports and Numen Gaming made significant progress on  Day 3 of BGMS Season 2. Teams like Spy Esports, True Rippers and WSB Gaming were not able to impress the fans.

Enigma Gaming’s Daljit “Daljitsk” Singh was crowned the Most Wicked Player of the launch week with 12 finishes to his name. 

BGMS Season 2 Day 3 Match Summary

Day 3 was an exciting day as teams like Insane Esports, Medal Esports and Marcos Gaming made the most out of their opportunity. Insane Esports took a massive leap of 11 places to be placed on the second spot on the overall team rankings.

Match 1: Group A vs Group C, Map - Erangel

Match one posed a challenge to all the teams with a Military Island zone. Team Insane with a near perfect rotation was able to clinch the chicken dinner with a total of 32 points. Numen Gaming along with Global Esports also had an excellent Match 1 as both of them accumulated 25 and 15 points respectively. Team Insane “Harshh” was the Most Valuable Player of the match with 6 finishes. 

Match 2: Group A vs Group C, Map - Sanhok

The second match of the day was the most interesting as Marcos Gaming was able to get the chicken dinner with a total of 22 points. With five teams remaining in the last circle it was impossible to predict the winner. Global Esports was also able to accumulate 22 points from this match. 

Match 3: Group B vs Group C, Map - Miramar

The third match of the day belonged to Medal Esports as it was able to secure the chicken dinner with a total of 27 points. One Blade Esports, who was one of the bottom placed teams on the table, also secured 17 points from the match. Revenant Esports and Blind Esports also had a good game with 10 points each.

Overall after all three days, teams like OR Esports, Revenant Esports, Team Soul and Enigma Gaming showed consistency, skill and teamwork which also reflected in the overall rankings.

Entity gaming, Blind Esports, and Gladiator Esports had dominated most of the third party events but are yet to show their presence in the tournament. 

The League Stage of the tournament starts from Monday, 7th August with a new set of groups. The bottom placed teams will be aiming to showcase their talent in the tournament.
