Indian esports returns to LAN after more than two years with the NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational tournament.
The invitational event will be featuring a total prize pool of INR 50 Lakhs split between two esports titles - Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Asphalt.
The LAN tournament will be taking place in Delhi NCR without a live audience from 26th to 28th April.

One of the world's leading esports company, NODWIN Gaming and one of India's top live streaming platforms, Loco, are bringing Indian esports back to LAN after a gap of more than two years with the NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational.

The tournament which is all set to take place in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region) will feature a total prize pool of INR 55,00,000 split between Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Asphalt. It is scheduled to take place from 26th to 28th April, running on all three days for BGMI and only on 28th April for Asphalt.

A total of 16 BGMI teams will be invited for the tournament while four Asphalt players will also be receiving an invite for the same. This will be the first esports tournament that will be taking place in a LAN environment after two years within India.

The popular mobile battle royale BGMI along with the action-packed mobile racing game Asphalt will be the two esports titles featured in the upcoming NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational.

Taking place in a LAN setup, the first offline Indian esports tournament, in the last two years, is ready to take place in Delhi NCR tomorrow onwards and will continue to run for the next three days.

Here are the complete details for the tournament which will be featuring some of the best teams and players from across the country.

Schedule

The NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational will be taking place from 26th to 28th April for the BGMI tournament, but the Apshalt even will only be taking place on 28th April.

As per sources, player travel and media shoots will be taking place today on 25th April and invited BGMI teams will be playing a total of 12 matches over the course of the three days.

Invited Teams

A total of 16 BGMI teams and four Asphalt players will be invited for the NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational.

Though official sources have not announced which teams have been invited for the tournament so far, according to a leak by 'Esportsnews_boy' the following teams might have received an invite,

Do take this information with a grain of salt as these teams have not been announced as direct invites by the tournament organizers. Further, a report by Gemwire has stated that due to health concerns Team SouL has backed out of the tournament.

LAN Precautions

With multiple teams and players travelling from all over the country, as per sources, tournament organizers have taken the following safety measures,

  • Mandatory submission of double dose certificates of all competing players for every BGMI team that has accepted the invite for the tournament.

  • Further, every player of each team must be carrying a double vaccination certificate or an RT-PCR certificate done within 48 hours of the tournament.

Livestream

The invitational tournament taking place in Delhi NCR will be played offline but without a live audience, making it a studio LAN tournament. The entire event will be livestreamed exclusively on Loco in three languages - Hindi, English, and Tamil.
