Highlights
Vampire Esports dominates the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023, winning with a significant lead of almost 90 points over the runner-ups.
Vampire Esports also won the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023: Allstars Stage and securing a total of over $600K USD in prize money in Riyadh.
The team's Nattawut "TonyK" Muensa stands out as the tournament's standout player, delivering exceptional performances with high average eliminations per map.

It wasn’t even close. After one of the most dominant performances in PUBG Mobile history, Vampire Esports has won the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023 (PMWI 2023) with nearly 90 points over the runner-ups. This is the second time in a row that Vampire Esports has won the PMWI in Riyadh, having won the PMWI 2022 (and the PMWI 2022: Afterparty) and taking home over $600K USD in prize money last year.

Vampire Esports had won PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023: Allstars Stage earlier last week, securing $140k USD and as a result has swept all the awards the tournament had to offer.

Vampire Esports Continues Dominance After Slow Start to Day 3

Vampire Esports’ worst performances in the tournament came in the first two matches of the day where the could only manage 9th place finishes. However, the champions quickly bounced back in the third game of the day, with a 3rd place finish. Vampire continued to follow it up with some immense performances in the final games of the day, reminding everyone about why they were so far ahead in the table.

With Vampire Esports so far ahead, the real competition was for the second and third places in the tournament. Considering that the runner-ups would walk away with $200k and the third place team would win $125k, there was some serious competition. Six Two Eight managed to secure the second place finish (primarily thanks to the final match of Day 2, where it secured 29 points). The Chinese team showed some really great performances throughout the event, but ultimately just couldn’t match Vampire’s prowess in PMWI 2023.

Gaimin Gladiators’ consistency across all the matches played on Day 3 ultimately paid off as the edged past Alpha7 Esports by 1 point in the final match of the tournament to secure the third place finish.

Vampire Esports’ performances in the PMWI 2023 definitely makes them a team to watch for as we head into the latter half of the season, with tournaments like the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 right around the corner.

Anything other than a win will be a disappointment for the Thai team, considering the sheer dominance they've displayed here.
