APL Esports is set to host the APL Invitational Season 2 event for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) featuring a prize pool of INR 2,50,000 ($3,350 USD).
24 invited teams - including Team TapaTap, Team Soul, and ORESports, will be competing in Round One and 19 teams will qualify to Round Two.
The event will be livestreamed on the official YouTube page of APL Esports from 20th to 26th August at 3.30 PM IST.

Esports and media broadcasting company, APL Esports just announced its APL Invitational Season 2 event for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The tournament will feature 24 teams that will be competing against each other for a prize pool of INR 2,50,000 ($3,350 USD). The prize pool will be divided between two rounds with Round One offering a prize pool of INR 1,00,000 ($1,350 USD) for the group stages and Round Two offering a prize pool of INR 1,50,000 ($2,000 USD) for the final stage. As per its press release, the tournament sponsored by the owner of APL Esports, Durgesh Mishra will kick off today (20th August) and will conclude on 26th August.

APL Invitational Season 2 BGMI: Format and schedule

The APL Invitational Season 2 BGMI event starts on 20th August and will continue till 26th Aug 2021.

Round One (20th to 23rd August)

Round One will feature a total of 24 teams that will be divided across four groups. Each group will compete in a round-robin format for a total of nine matches each. A total of 18 teams will qualify for Round Two along with an extra team among eliminated participants via fan voting.

Round Two (24th to 26th August)

Round Two will feature a total of 19 teams who will compete against each other to determine the winners of APL Invitational Season 2.
