Apex Legends Mobile Update: New Cold Snap Content Arriving on 15th June

Apex Legends Mobile launched last month and it has become one of the most popular titles on Android and iOS. The mobile battle royale is set to receive its biggest content update dubbed “Cold Snap”. Patch 1.5, which will introduce the new Cold Snap content, is expected to arrive on 15th June along with a brand new legend. Loba, who is a fan-favorite character within the Apex Legends community on PC and console, is set to arrive on mobile.

What’s in the new Apex Legends Mobile Update?

The biggest attraction of the update is of course, Loba. The legend can allow players to loot up and she has a nifty little escape mechanism to keep herself safe or put herself in tactical positions.

Passive - Eye for Quality: Nearby epic and legendary loot can be seen through walls. The range is the same as Black Market Boutique.

Tactical - Burglar's Best Friend: Teleport to hard-to-reach places or escape trouble quickly by throwing your Jump Drive bracelet. Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Ultimate - Black Market Boutique: Place a portable device that allows you to teleport nearby loot to your inventory. Each friendly or enemy Legend can take up to two items. Cooldown: 2 minutes.

In addition to the arrival of Loba, there are some gameplay changes coming to the game as well. The battle pass is getting some changes. Players who already have access to the pass will be able to claim additional rewards. More skins are being rewarded as part of the pass as well, which include:

• Five-Star Performance Rare Skin (Lifeline)

• Fuel Tank Rare Skin (Caustic)

• Leader of the Pack Epic Skin (Bloodhound)

• Engine Coolant Epic Skin (Pathfinder)

• Electric Breeze Rare Skin (Fade)

With each level that you complete in the battle pass, players will now be rewarded with 800 Syndicate Gold. Other changes in the update include the removal of leaver penalties for non-ranked games, new servers for North America, United Kingdom and France, as well as some background server optimizations that improve latency and performance.
