Alter Ego Reveals Their MPL ID Season 8 Roster With a Surprising Omission
One of the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports organizations in Indonesia, Alter Ego, has revealed its team roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) without their key player Ahmad “Ahmad” Abdurrahman. After their lackluster run in the MPL ID Season 7, where it had an early exit in the playoffs after being defeated by Bigetron Alpha, Alter Ego is back in action with its new and improved team roster. The team also announced its new member, Rasya “Rasy” Arga Wisista who is a former ONIC Esports member. More details regarding the team roster of Alter Ego can be found below.

Alter Ego announces MPL ID Season 8 roster
One of the popular Mobile Legends esports organizations in Indonesia has revealed its new team roster for the upcoming MPL Season featuring a new member. Alter Ego welcomes former ONIC Esports pro player, Rasya “Rasy” Arga Wisista, to the team. With the arrival of Rasy in the team, one of the key players of Alter Ego, Ahmad “Ahmad” Abdurrahman, will be taking a break this season.
The roster reveal was posted through the official YouTube channel of Alter Ego Esports with the caption “Don't forget to continue to support Alter Ego in MPL, Champs!”

Alter Ego is one of the most popular Mobile Legends esports teams in SEA. The team has acquired numerous championship titles with the most noteworthy being the MPL Invitational Season 2 where they defeated Philippine Mobile Legends powerhouse, Bren Esports in the grand finals with a 3-0 clean sweep victory.
Ahmad is one of the veteran pro players of Alter Ego who helped the team achieve its milestones in the Mobile Legends esports scene. The pro player is yet to reveal the reason as to why he won’t be participating in the upcoming MPL ID Season 8.
It will be interesting to see if Alter Ego will be able to bring back its former glory with its new team roster and with the absence of one of its best players, Ahmad, in the team. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled in the upcoming MPL ID Season 8 which will kick off in August 2021.
