ACTOZ Announces ‘Clash of Titans' as India’s First-Ever Mobile MOBA Game
ACTOZ SG, a subsidiary company of ACTOZ SOFT CO LTD, announced the launch of a new mobile game titled ‘Clash of Titans.’ The game is being marketed as India’s first-ever mobile MOBA game. With League of Legends: Wild Rift and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) not being available in India at the moment, Clash of Titans might have the opportunity to tap into the country’s MOBA audience.
Clash of Titans has elements of its design and gameplay very similar to popular mobile MOBA Arena of Valor (which is currently banned within the country). The launch of the title bares resemblance to BGMI's launch within the country.
What is Clash of Titans
Clash of Titans is a free-to-play title that will be monetized via microtransactions. A set of titans (characters) will be available at launch and players can unlock new titans through gameplay and potentially premium currency. ACTOZ revealed that in addition to paid cosmetics, there will be limited-time events that allow players to unlock free skins and other rewards.
The combat is designed in a way that players can use only two fingers on mobile devices to control their characters and engage in combat. Players can choose from the Tank, Mage, Support, Marksman, and Assassin classes to strategize and dictate combat in a 5v5 setting.
With MLBB and Wild Rift not officially available in India, ACTOZ might be able to tap into the country's MOBA market. The developers are possibly replicating Krafton's approach with Battlegrounds Mobile India, by making an India-exclusive title that adheres to local regulations.
