COD Mobile: 80's Throwdown Battle Royale Kill Race Event Details
The much-awaited showdown between Dr. Disrespect and iFerg in the 80’s Throwdown CoD Mobile Battle Royale Kill Race event will be streamed live on May 24, 2021, at 11 AM (PT) through the official COD Mobile Esports YouTube Channel.
In a livestream, iFerg revealed several details regarding the event format. The two celebrities will be competing using their preferred devices during the event. This means they will face off in a Battle Royale match using mobile and emulator. IFerg also added that he and Dr. Disrespect will play on separate servers and matches, but they will communicate with voice chat throughout the event.
The format of the event will be a kill race, which means that teams with the most kills in a given amount of time will win. However, details regarding each kill, the finals placement, and other contributing factors have yet to be revealed.

The Dr. Disrespect and iFerg Feud
Dr. Disrespect and iFerg had a heated debate over the relevance of mobile gaming in the esports scene last year that sparked the feud between the two personalities. This led to a supposed $100k 1v1 COD Mobile challenge which eventually didn’t happen. Activision has decided to provide the stage for both celebrities this year in order to finally settle this year-long feud.
