Garena has once again dropped the ban hammer pretty hard, as more than a million Free Fire player accounts have been reportedly banned in the last 2 weeks. The developer of the mobile-based battle royale has always been an advocate of a clean gaming environment for all its users. Similar Free Fire ban waves have been handed out by Garena in the past, issuing a permanent ban to more than 3.7 million devices in September last year, followed by another million accounts being banned in December. Now 5 months later, a total of 1,225,509 Free Fire accounts have been slammed with a ban, as per a report published by Garena.

Garena has issued a report after hitting the cheating community with another huge ban wave. This time a total of 1,225,509 Free Fire accounts have been handed a permanent ban in just the last 2 weeks. Also, 51% of the banned accounts were those that have actually been reported by other Free Fire players.

This goes on to show that the developers are actively monitoring the reports made by the players, checking the reported accounts for any malicious or illicit activities that may damage the matchmaking integrity. 51% of reported accounts actually getting banned proves that the community members are also mostly correct when it comes to reporting suspicious players or accounts.
