Apex Legends Mobile Early Access now available in the Philippines
After being released in India last month, Apex Legends Mobile will now be available in the Philippines as part of a closed beta test. However, only a select few will receive early access to the mobile game. In the coming months and years, more regions and devices will gain access to the game, and it will eventually be released internationally by the end of 2021.
“We’ll be steadily rolling out Apex Legends Mobile around the world in a series of tests. To start with, we’ll do a series of smaller closed beta tests in India and the Philippines,” The devs stated in their blog post.
Players in the Philippines can check if they have access to the game by visiting the Google Play Store. Only Android devices with Android 9.0 and at least 4GB of RAM will be able to download the game from the Google Play Store. During the closed beta testing period, only a limited number of players will gain access to the game. However, pre-registered players will eventually gain early access as the testing continues.
“We're keeping things small to start—just a few thousand players in India and the Philippines—but over the course of this year we're planning to roll the game out to more regions and more players around the world,” stated the devs.
