Muhammad "Udil" Julian Ardiansyah, a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang pro, has cleared the air about rumors of his retirement after he finished last in Season 7 of MPL ID Season 7 with Alter Ego. This rumor began after Alter Ego was defeated by Bigetron Alpha by a score of 2-1 during the MPL ID S7 Playoffs Day 1. Udil was then seen pointing his fingers at the camera. As a result, fans interpreted her actions as a sign that he is hinting at retirement, following his failure to qualify for the next round. The rumors started circulating after Ahmad “Ahmad” Abdurrahman stated that Udil was planning to retire, in a podcast hosted by Jonathan Liandi's Empetalk. It grew in intensity after Alter Ego's disappointing run in the MPL ID Season 7 and Udil's finger gesture at the tournament.
Udil responded to these rumors in his NimoTV stream, stating that the finger gesture was his way of saying sorry for not meeting expectations, and not winning a trophy in the MPL ID Season 7. The esports pro also added that this wasn’t the end for him and his team as they are still hungry for more titles in future Mobile Legends tournaments.
