Activision’s rising mobile shooter game Call of Duty: Mobile has recently reached a new milestone of 500 million downloads worldwide since its initial launch in October 2019. This milestone was announced on the official social media accounts of COD Mobile, thanking the fans for their continued support while also encouraging them to check in their in-game mailbox for a surprise. All players will receive ten free Radio Current crates to celebrate the game’s achievement. According to Activision’s financial report, COD Mobile Season Two: Tokyo Escape is currently the highest-grossing season for the game. Here are more details regarding COD Mobile’s recently achieved milestone.

How Many Downloads Does COD Mobile Have

On May 4th, 2021, COD Mobile reached 500 Million downloads worldwide.

To mark this achievement, Activision will give away free in-game loots for all active players. 

Players who log in to the game will receive ten free Radio Current crates in their in-game mailbox. Players will have to claim these crates before they expire. The loot crate contains various Radio Current cosmetics for both character and weapons. COD Mobile will convert duplicates to credits that players can use to purchase items in the in-game store.

Activision stated that this milestone was only made possible through the community’s continued support. The devs will continue to deliver exciting new content for players to enjoy.

COD Mobile reached $1 Billion Revenue

Adding to the milestone, COD Mobile has also reported having generated over $1 Billion in revenue since its release in October 2019. 

This was partially thanks to their most successful season yet, Season 3: Tokyo Escape which was recently launched on May 16, 2021. 


Players can expect the next season of COD Mobile to have more exciting new content. Currently, Activision has released a new public test build where players get to experience first hand the upcoming content in the game, such as the new map Dome, Time Traveller Battle Royale Class, K9-unit Operator Skill, and many more.
