In a post-match conference, shortly after their victory in the MPL ID Season 7, the team’s MVP, Luminaire, stated that he is considering retiring from pro play.

“I will have to consider it,” Luminaire stated regarding his plans of retiring as an esports pro player.

This isn’t the first time he has hinted at retirement. After his long break, Luminaire hints that he will only be around until the end of MPL ID Season 7 Playoffs. The pro player states that he wants to focus on becoming a streamer or content creator on YouTube.

“Simply put, my years being a pro-player will end when we reach the playoffs. Whether or not we win the title, I’m retiring,” Luminaire stated on one of his streams on Nimo TV.

Following Luminaire’s announcement, two other EVOS Legends pro players have also hinted at retirement. REKT and Zeys posted hints on their social media handle that this might be their last run.
